The Logitech MK 240 Nano Wireless Combo is a great choice, as it doesn't use LED lights on the keyboard and mouse, ensuring excellent battery life. The keyboard's keycap size is larger compared to other keyboards. I bought it for around 1500 rupees with a 3-year warranty. The package includes the warranty card and four free AAA cells. Both the keyboard and mouse require two cells each. The combo comes with a receiver that can be used to store the mouse. The mouse has an invisible sensor without a red LED, contributing to extended battery life, with up to 12 months for the mouse and 36 months for the keyboard.
Visually, the combo looks appealing with two color options; I opted for the black one. The pattern remains the same for both devices. Both the keyboard and mouse have good build quality, with a sturdy frame for the keyboard and high-quality plastic for the mouse, eliminating any loose parts or noise.
The combo is compact and easily fits in a bag, and their exact sizes can be seen on the screen. The keyboard has three side borderless design, with slightly larger bezels on top. It appears to be spill-proof due to the presence of holes that allow any spilled liquid to drain out.
The keyboard has adjustable legs at the back, providing a comfortable typing experience with well-pressed keys. However, some may find the key gaps to be smaller, which could lead to mistakes during fast typing. The arrow keys are small, which might be irritating for heavy users.
Moving on to the mouse, its shape and design are comfortable to hold, and the top surface has a matte finish. The clicking sound is normal, not silent, but the quality is good. The scroll wheel is made of rubber and operates smoothly with some noise. The mouse's DPI is 1000, sufficient for small displays, and it features an invisible optic sensor, unlike traditional mice with red LED sensors.
During gaming, the keyboard allows a maximum of 6-key rollovers, and the mouse has a 125 Hz polling rate, making it suitable for casual gaming without significant issues. For regular use, there is no noticeable latency.
Overall, this combo offers the best value in terms of warranty and battery life, with excellent build quality, comfortable keypress, and mouse clicks. The only downside is the small size of the arrow keys. Feel free to share your opinion in the comment section below.
